S P I D E R B A B YJay acted as musical director and played guitar in the San Diego production of Spider Baby the Musical. The rock musical was first produced in 2004 and is based on the 1964 cult horror film of the same name. The music was composed by Enrique Acosta, and arranged for the San Diego production by Jay.
Jay focused on tailoring the songs to the show's talented cast, subtly but significantly altering some songs and completely re-arranging another. The videos here include two songs captured during performance, as well as two songs filmed during the San Diego cast recording sessions. |
